I’m involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, clinical service provision, research that drives into policy, advocating for reproductive health rights to the community and providing technical policy guidance on reproductive health issues. Main research areas are in integrating maternal near cases into preexisting maternal death surveillance and response system, real time data capturing of severe maternal outcomes (maternal near miss case reviews & maternal deaths) in all the districts in the country with COVID 19 inclusive, maternal sepsis innovations, quality of care innovations in antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care and also in the prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV trials
