MLWT Launches Umoyo N’kukambirana Radio Program

As one way of increasing access and awareness to the masses regarding clinical research and health related issues in the country, Malawi Liverpool welcome Trust (MLW) launched a 3rd phase of a health program called Umoyo nkukambirana.
Umoyo Nkukambirana, an interactive radio program between researchers, clinicians and the general public was first introduced in 2012. It tackles issues of clinical research ranging from myths, consent and facts and general health issues ranging from causes, prevention and suggestions on how one can get help on a particular disease.

The third phase of Umoyo Nkukambirana program will run for two years on MBC Radio one, every Saturday from 17:00 to 18:00 pm. A repeat of the program will be done on different community radio stations which are; YONECO FM in Zomba, Dzimwe Community Radio Station in Mangochi and Nkhotakota Community Radio Station in Nkhotakota.
