Closing out the two-week-long event of the 25th Anniversary, MLW held a staff day at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHES) Sports Complex on 17 September 2022. Some activities including sports competitions and artistic performances by headliners such as Eli Njuchi, Lulu, and Piksy marked the end of the Anniversary.
The chairperson for the organizing committee Tamara Chipasula Makawa thanked all MLW staff for being supportive towards the 25th Anniversary.
“I am short of words. Leading the celebrations was effortless because of such an amazing support system which had my back and helped in the best way possible. I am grateful to MLW for trusting me and the organising committee to run this event. I also appreciate MLW staff, funders, the community, and all partners for their cooperation,” said Chipasula Makawa.
