How to get involved
CREATOR is very special, unique actually, and built on a 30 year partnership between Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (formerly College of Medicine), Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, the Wellcome Trust and the University of Liverpool, as well as senior opinion leaders in Malawi over these many years.
Our vision is to expand, building our research base and collaborations to impact the health of Malawi and the region, while training the next generations of the research community. As such, we welcome new people and partner institutions to join us in realising this vision.
The process to get engaged begins with a conversation, either with the MLW Director, the CREATOR Lead or any of the Research Theme Leads linked on this website. In that conversation, we would like to understand the answer to three main questions:
- What is your ambition and what are you trying to achieve?
- What do you bring to CREATOR and MLW?
- How does this fit in to the vision articulated here?
